In this role you will be a creative ambassador, shaping the future of LEGO House through advanced model creation, immersive storytelling and experience development.
Please note the work location is Billund, Denmark and no relocation assistance is offered for this role.
Join the Experience team in LEGO House
At LEGO House, we share our guests’ enthusiasm and love for the LEGO Brick. Here, you will join the Experience Design team, which is constantly working to ensure every aspect of the LEGO House experience is second to none.
As part of our cross-functional Experience team, you’ll collaborate with both experience designers and engineers as well as have a broad outlook and many touchpoints within LEGO House and the broader LEGO Ecosystem.
You solve problems with a focus on bringing value to the guest, the team, and the culture. Most importantly, you possess a value-based working style with a customer-centric focus.

Core responsibilities
- Experience development: Apply subject matter knowledge to conceptualize and develop strategic experience initiatives for LEGO House. Independently lead the design of brick mixes and model concepts that enhance guest experiences. Integrate LEGO humour, hidden gems, and layered storytelling into model and experience development.
- Set the creative direction for model development: Define and guide concept direction for exclusive LEGO House models and large-scale installations. Ensure creative alignment with brand expectations and guest experience goals. Present creative concepts to key stakeholders to support decision-making
- Fan engagement: Represent LEGO House at fan events, identifying trends and scouting display models. Conduct co-creation processes with fans, ensuring quality and alignment. Deliver presentations and participate in panels to promote community engagement.
- Internal collaboration and connection: Participate in LEGO designer workshops to maintain strong ties with The LEGO Group. Facilitate knowledge sharing between LEGO House and internal design teams.
- Brand representation and storytelling: Serve as a visible ambassador through media, social content, and live events. Host exclusive set signature events and Master Builder presentations. Inspire guests and colleagues through storytelling and creative interpretation.
- Mentorship and team inspiration: Share insights from fan events and industry trends to facilitate team learning. Mentor colleagues and promote a culture of creativity.
- Model content curation: Create briefs and lead selection of fan-created content for annual showcases. Curate AFOL models for the Masterpiece Gallery, World Explorer, and display cases.
- Brick mix optimization: Own and optimize the LEGO brick mix to balance play value, building experience, cost, and efficiency.
- LEGO Masters Academy: Direct curriculum development and host expert sessions. Mentor other Master Builders, hosts, and colleaguess to elevate program quality.
LEGO House is an experience house open on weekends, holidays, and during school vacation periods. Your flexibility and openness to participate in a rotational on-call scheme (approximately once every 2-3 months) to help ensure efficient operation of the experiences during opening hours of LEGO House is essential.
